Shared language
Connect management, engineering, and operational perspectives.
Clear responsibilities
Structure cybersecurity activities across projects and operations.
Risk-based decisions
Relate industrial context to security requirements and design.
Lifecycle continuity
Carry decisions through implementation, testing, and maintenance.
Built around industrial context
Different production environments.
A common foundation.
The program supports industrial cybersecurity learning across manufacturing sectors, using the WBS approach to connect ISA/IEC 62443 requirements with the organization’s context.
Find the right starting point
Awareness, leadership,
and specialist foundations.
Choose an entry point based on your role and existing knowledge. These options support different audiences and are not presented as mandatory prerequisites.
Industrial Safety & Security Awareness
Build shared concepts across your workforce with 2102 (2 hours), 2104 (4 hours), and 2108 (8 hours). The options range from concepts and definitions to a WBS overview and broader awareness for participants with little or no prior background.
Industrial Cybersecurity Workshops for Leadership
Workshops for upper management to explore industrial cybersecurity responsibilities, organizational decisions, and the importance of a coordinated approach.
Industrial Cybersecurity & Critical Infrastructure
Connect industrial cybersecurity concepts with critical infrastructure protection and the context in which industrial organizations operate.
Cybersecurity Management for Product Manufacturers
Training designed for manufacturers of industrial hardware and software products. Confirm the detailed syllabus and session arrangements when planning participation.
Develop capability across the lifecycle
From governance
to sustained operations.
Six complementary courses address the work of managing, assessing, designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial cybersecurity.
Cybersecurity Management for Manufacturing Projects
Organize cybersecurity responsibilities and project activities using the WBS methodology.
What this course covers
A step-by-step approach for end users and service suppliers implementing ISA/IEC 62443 requirements and coordinating applicable frameworks.
Cyber Risk Assessment for Industrial Systems
Assess cyber risk in new and existing manufacturing environments.
What this course covers
Understand governance, assessment methods, and documented outputs that inform subsequent security decisions.
Security Design, Implementation & Testing
Translate risk assessment results into security measures for new and existing industrial systems.
What this course covers
Cover design, implementation, and acceptance testing, with documented evidence before operations and maintenance.
Secure Operations & Cybersecurity Maintenance
Sustain protection across the operating life of manufacturing systems.
What this course covers
Connect operational support, preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring, response, auditing, and continuous improvement.
Security by Design for Control Systems
Integrate risk mitigation into engineering decisions before implementing countermeasures.
What this course covers
For control systems engineers and service providers working on design after the detailed risk assessment.
Industrial Security Event & Alert Management
Design monitoring, detection, and response around the risks and context of industrial operations.
What this course covers
Address assessment, design, implementation, testing, operation, and maintenance of OT monitoring and response systems.
Course order above follows the published numbering. It does not prescribe a project execution sequence or a mandatory enrollment order.
A practical implementation perspective
Connect the standards
with the work to be done.
Requirements and context
Understand how the relevant ISA/IEC 62443 requirements relate to manufacturing systems and organizational responsibilities.
Documented activities
Build a consistent approach to the outputs and evidence needed throughout cybersecurity projects and operations.
Coordinated frameworks
Explore how activities can be coordinated with frameworks such as NIST CSF and C2M2, according to the organization’s applicable requirements.

Who is this program for?
Training options cover end users, service suppliers, product manufacturers, upper management, engineering, OT, and operational roles in general manufacturing industries.
How do the awareness courses differ?
2102 provides two hours focused on concepts and definitions. 2104 provides four hours including a basic WBS overview. 2108 provides eight hours of broader awareness training for participants with limited or no prior background.
Is this the official ISA certificate program?
No. The 21 Program presents WisePlant’s WBS implementation methodology. The official ISA cybersecurity training program is a separate training pathway.
Will course completion certify my organization?
No. Training, participant assessment, and organizational or product certification are separate processes. Completing a course does not by itself establish compliance or certification.
Where can I find dates and datasheets?
Subscribe for training announcements and review published event details before enrolling. The source page currently lists datasheets and brochures as coming soon.
Can previous participants access earlier versions?
The published program states that new participants enroll in the latest available version. Earlier versions may remain available to previous participants through their courses and account access.
